I see the html in the settings area of the component, but when I paste that into an article or module, it doesn't display my published files in the file manager...

Hello RAdams,
You need a mambot in order to make that happen. I haven't got the time to develop it yet. If you want to see the files, you can add a new Menu Item(chose Component from the options), and point it to doQment. This will display the frontend files.
Let me know if you got it working.
