the download counter increase on every page refresh, i don´t now if this happens also if a new visitor goes to the site.

No, it shouldn't work that way. The download increases each time someone clicks on the download button. Please test it a little more, and let me know if that problem persists..

Very strange, as far as i´ve tested now this problem exist only with Firefox (2.0.0.3) and not every time, but it still happens.

After you click download & refresh the page it is being increased by 1. That's how it should work. I didn't tested it yet on 2.0.0.3. I'll install it now, and see what happens

So it looks like an problem with the page focus, make 2 tabs in Firefox change from download site to the other tab and go back then make a page refresh and voilá the counter goes up by 1.
