First of all thank you for great Free Open Source Software!

I am working on a Swedish translation for Forme and would like to find reviewers and contributors. Obviously I will also try to activate people at a couple of Swedish groups. This thread is perhaps a good place to collect suggestions and contributions. Please keep your postings in English.

1) The easy part is to create a language/swedish.php based on the existing language/english.php file.

2) The calendar has to be adapted. In Sweden we use week numbers. By definition the working week starts on a monday. It is important to create a working layout and theme. Correct date and week calculations are crucial.

3)I have to find out how to configure the language in the main code. Either automatically from the locale or by allowing the administrator or users to choose a language. I don' have the ambition to solve the multi-language issue yet, but it is good if it could be a part of the generic solution.

4) Personally I believe that the terminology "flavor" has to be centered on a neutral professional communication between a business and a customer . I have seen too many translations that are suitable for hobby applications but fail to meet the needs for more serious contexts.

5) Ideally the translation has to be reviewed and approved by more that one person.

By making a good translation we will also influence how seriously this product will be adopted by customers that can make good donations for the project.

A preliminary release of my translation without the calendar will be ready within a few days (I have also a family and a business to run!)
