Hi I tried RS files. I hoped you would improve doquement so it would fit my needs. But all I ger is internal server errors when I want to download. I also thought I could easily set up categories. I hoped somebody could make a simple download component like phpwcms uses, integrated and free in that cms.

Hi Alex, Doquemet was almost perfect for my needs you ma a completely new component. I can't find how to create categories and I get errors.

Hi Alex I tried RS files again on my local xammp but I still can't find how to create categories I really need tutorial. I don't think it's a problem to pay for a component but I WANT SIMPLE. That's not possible with Joomla see Remository etc. And that's why doquement was unique. Please write a little tutorial how to use RS files cause I don't get it.

I've seen that you can just upload your files by ftp and it autodetects, great! But what about categories and how do you put in descriptions?

you are right. The component still needs a tutorial, but it's just at the beginning. I will create one after i finish a new update for another component.

Well that's very nice. After I placed a directory with a couple pdf's in the download map at th webroot it was clear to me how it worked in backend and frontend but that could have been more clear from the start, no complaint, just a suggestion. Another question: Youy use Fireboard forum component. It's beta would you recommend it for a production website yet?
